Just a pinch of fairy dust…

Ella turns five in a couple of days.  Of course, as luck would have it, there were tournaments, and first communions, and playoffs and other such events that were interfering with her grande event, so we held her party a couple of weeks early.  It was a lovely affair, I must say.

Each of the little girls wore a halo of flowers and fairy wings.  Precious.  It made me think that little girls should always wear flowers in their hair.  Always.  And butterflies, ribbons and sparkly doodads.

We made fairy wands…

…sprinkled fairy dust…

…and nibbled on fairy cakes.

There was a lot of twirling, and skipping and dancing around.

She made a wish (which she refused to tell me but I’m pretty sure she wished for a real cat.)…

…and the little girl was happy…

P.S.  Oh those stinking tattoos…why must she insist on wearing those stinking tattoos?

P.P.S.  Ella is not going to be getting any real cats.

Where has five years gone? My goodness…she is so precious and I love the party decorations…just gorgeous and so fun! I’m sure your adorable pooch will thank you for not getting a cat! LOL!

  2. Oh, friend. These are gorgeous. Simply gorgeous… and the tattoos? They only add to the personality of your lovely five year old!

Where does the time go? Five sounds so old, doesn’t it? And yes… every girl should wear flowers in her hair!

Say it...
