I was one smelly chic

Just fyi, Toms of Maine deoderant is not terribly helpful in the b.o. department.  At least not for me.  I do like their toothpaste, though.

You’re welcome.

  1. I had the same problem with Trader Joe’s all natural deodorant. Had considered trying Tom’s of Maine. Guess I’ll stick with secret.

  2. I had the same experience, I even tried the crystal deo. All those chemicals are so bad and have been linked to breast cancer, but they sure make you smell better and keep that yucky BO away.

  3. I thought it smelled funky at the theater. Oh wait, that was the 50 y.o. carpet. They need to update that place. I started using Dove’s deodorant. I know it probably has all those bad chemicals…

There’s something to be said about my $.49 deodorant (yep, I sure did pay that much cause I had $2.00 off coupons so I bought THREE of them for less than a full-price one…woot woot!), it keeps me smelling good and I’m quite neurotic about that…thanks for the tip and here’s praying God will be my guardian angel when it comes to chemicals under my pits!

I did not have a good experience with the toothpaste – some version of it with clay (yes, clay). I cannot adequately describe what I put my co-workers through for, uhm, maybe 3 days until I was sure the all natural toothpaste had betrayed me. 3 days too late. oh my. I’m sure it’s not the version of Tom’s you’re using, unless you’ve noticed friends running in the other direction … heh.
