Object of Importance

One should never underestimate the importance of any particular object to a little boy.  Especially when said object is desired by another little boy.  Especially if that other little boy is his brother.  Around here, I’ve been dealing with the fighting and wailing and gnashing of teeth for several days now.  And I’ve been attempting to negotiate a peace treaty between the boys, with little success.  The lengthy talks and the proposed deals have been met with resistance.  When one boy is content, the other feels a huge injustice is being done unto him.  And so the object of their desire, that which has caused so much turmoil, has been confiscated until further notice.

What is the object of their desire?

On a side note, I am beginning to accumulate a mass of things now that have been “confiscated until further notice.”
