It is as though the Gods of Bloggydom are smiling down on me. This morning, I was going to try to write a spot about nothing. Other people do it, all the time. And they’re really funny. And I sat there and had nothing to say about nothing. And then, lo and behold, I received the news the my little boy Henry has been chosen as a finalist in the Special Exposure Wednesday Model Search. The winner will have his or her photo replace the stock image in the Special Exposure Wednesday blog button!
How cute would it be if the world was greeted with this picture of Henry every Wednesday?!
Anyway, the idea is that y’all get to vote for the winner. There are four finalists, all of whom are just beautiful children. Check it out here. I am a thirty-something wife and stay-at-home mom of 4 little children. My days are filled with playdates, storybooks and homework; naptime, diapers and laundry; boo-boos, boogers, wet kisses and warm hugs. There are crumbs on the floor, and sticky fingerprints on the windows. It is a time in my life that is very challenging, but there are moments that are like epiphanies in which I see very clearly just how beautiful my life is.

Okay, I know you won’t be mad that I didn’t vote for handsome son since my beautiful daughter is also a contender, but I did want to say I feel so privileged to even be in the running with you guys. I feel like a winner just being a finalist! Best wishes!

Yes, black and white film IS cheaper.
